Not sure what you need? Get an instant estimate as a starting point.
Answer a few quick questions, and I'll point you toward the option that fits, along with a ballpark to expect. Every business is different, so this is just a starting point. Your real quote comes after a quick discovery call, once I understand what you're actually building and where you want your business to go. No pressure, just a clear next step.

The calculator is a starting point, not a quote. It's good at pointing you to the right product and a realistic ballpark from a few quick answers. What it can't see is what actually moves a price: how complex your design is, how many products a store carries, whether you already have brand assets, or what your real goals are. That's what the discovery call is for. I'd rather give you an honest number after a short conversation than a precise-looking one that turns out wrong.

It depends on the size of the site and what it needs to do. My builds start at $1,599 for a focused one-page site and $3,500 for a full multi-page site, with copywriting and SEO included in every build. A store, custom integrations, or 15-plus pages runs higher, and the calculator above will give you a ballpark for your situation. That puts me in the middle of the range for an experienced Squarespace designer: below most agencies, above the template shops that hand you a site and disappear.

Minnesota web design covers a wide range, from a few hundred dollars for a DIY template up into five figures for a large agency build. I sit in the middle on purpose. I'm based near Minneapolis and build for Minnesota small businesses (and plenty of clients beyond the state), so you get an experienced Squarespace designer without agency prices or agency runaround. Most of my local builds land between $1,599 and $5,000 depending on size.

My local SEO plans are month to month, no long contracts. They start at $549 a month for Essentials, $999 for Growth, and $1,499 for Authority, plus a one-time $650 setup that builds your foundation (audit, keyword research, Google Business Profile, and the technical setup). You keep everything I create, and you can cancel anytime before your next billing date. Sometimes, if your current site is far from optimized, I’d just suggest a rebuild at $3,500, no setup fee.

$1,599. That's a single, well-built Squarespace page designed to turn visitors into calls and leads, with copywriting, on-page SEO, mobile-responsive design, and Google Analytics and Search Console set up. It's a great fit when you want to look professional and get found without paying for pages you don't need yet.
-
If you're keeping your current copy and design, a migration is priced by page count and usually falls between $2,000 and $5,000. That covers rebuilding your site on Squarespace, carrying your content over, and setting up redirects so you don't lose your search rankings in the move. If you want new copy or a redesign at the same time, that's a custom project and we'll scope it on a call.
-
It's included. Every website build comes with SEO-optimized copywriting written for your audience, not filler you have to replace later. The only time copy is a separate conversation is a migration, where I'm carrying over the words you already have unless you want new ones.
-
No. Every plan is month to month. You're paying for real work each month, not locked into a year, and you can cancel anytime before your next billing date. Whatever I've built (content, citations, backlinks) stays with your business.

I'm rooted in Minnesota and love working with local businesses here, but I design and do SEO for Squarespace businesses anywhere. The web design side leans local; the SEO side works wherever you are.

Completely. Once your site is paid in full, you get full admin access and it's yours outright. You pay Squarespace directly for hosting, so your site and your billing stay in your name, not mine.
